This time we will present you the second super heavy tank for the mod and its origins is from USA. He already did his debut in the Battlefield 1942 Trilogy and that is the T28 Super Heavy Tank.
Also know as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95, the T28 was an American Super Heavy Juggernaut Tank wich was designed during the late period of the war as breakthrough tank against heavy fortification lines like the famous Siegfriedlinie and it was more designed as selfpropelled AT-gun. This meanwhile the Germans are design heavy tanks like the
Notable is he is a long, wide and low vehicle with a big 10.5 cm T5E1 gun, wich already saw his debut in version 0.5 as maingun on the [url=http://fhsw.wikia.com/wiki/T29_Heavy_Tank]T29[/url]. As protection, his upper front armour was 203 mm thick meanwhile the lower front armour was 133 mm thick, side 152 mm thick and back and roof 51 mm thick and it have one 305mm thick big massive gunmask. Because its weight of 86 tonnes and the poor 500 Hp heavy Ford engine, the T28 have a maxumum speed of 13 km/h, wich make him a slow but big target.
Notable are his two tracks on each side and one track on each side can be removed during transport of the vehicle. None off the two build vehicles saw service during a war!
After the war, the USA equipment was reorganize and the vehicle was know as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95. However, in 1946 it have the name T28 back. But he already saw service in BF1942SW and also in FHSW will make the T28 debut and its not the model from BF1942SW but made by Ningen! Its available with two or four tracks.
