Any structure that is expected to pass the test of time must have a solid reliable foundation. In the case of Battlefield 1942, that foundation is each and every member of the Battlefield community. With that said, let it be known that this week's update will feature several up and coming community mods for Battlefield 1942. But first, enjoy an update on the official side of Battlefield matters:

1.2 Patch
The patch is on schedule to be released very soon -- keep your eyes open for an official announcement on this site.

Linux Server
The Linux Server has hit a snag… the 1.2 patch. We need to integrate the fixes from the 1.2 patch into it prior to release. So, expect it to lag a bit behind the release of the 1.2 patch.

Battlefield 1942 Mods
And now… on to the mods… with one caveat, EA and DICE do not guarantee the performance of any of these mods. They are the creations of some extremely talented and dedicated BF1942 fans… so enjoy them as such. And another thing to note... except for the ACTION BF mod, most are still in the design phase. Some have entered beta testing... and you can read about that on their respective web pages.
