Battlefield 40K has had new alphas being released steadily over the last 5 months, but we have had a severe shortage in the number of skilled artists we currently have on the team.

This is preventing us from finishing key artistic assets needed for completing the first release such as:

Character models
Infantry weapons models.
Kits
Vehicles.

One of the lead coders spent some time out moving house which he has now done, and myself, I had to develop a website for someone over a month as freelance work.

Currently I have sent out recruitment posts to ModDB, game-artist.net, and bfeditor forums in an effort to replenish our losses in artists to get the mods artistic assets finished off.

I have also put up a request to the mod contractor service on game-artist.net to ask freelance artists to develop new assets for us in the short term.

have also been discussing new plans with the remaining devs about 6 maps we hope to complete for first release.

The seige of Tarokken V (3 City maps)

* A Tau Etherial has been captured by the Imperial Ordo Xenus that is vital to leading the water caste. Without his leadership the food production has dropped leaving the Tau sect in the star system facing starvation and civil strife.
* The last known intelligence on the where abouts of Etherial points to a city on the Imperial Planet of Tarrokken V.
* Through desperation the Tau Fire Caste with its allies prepares to make landfall and lay bloody sieges upon the Imperial cities in the search to free their spiritual leader.
