	This News Item has been viewed 5450 times! Guten Tag, everyone! The mod is developing constantly behind the scenes and it's time again to show some of our recent progress! First of all, we're proud to show you our first tank ingame: The M26 Pershing. Although it's still WIP, it's a great step forward. We thank [BGF]Koricus for his help at getting the beast ingame! We hope you enjoy the screenshots: We also finished the first US playermodel and equipment to show different kit configurations: We have already run attempts to get the player models ingame. There's also some more German firepower for the Chinese fraction: The Mauser M712 "Schnellfeuer" is a German interwar period machine pistol that's built up on the Mauser C96. Both weapons were bought and also built by the Chinese army, and still used for decades. Last but not least: We have a nice overview about every weapon we have already ingame, and still more to come! I guess this will be like BGF.. not that impressive. I hope i'm wrong tho.

seems like all of Black Sand Studios mods kind of sucked.. except for PR obviously

to bad no one plays USI..i think its seriously underrated comparing to the overrated DCON when it first came out.

i realy hope this mod get a good amount of people playing. cuase i really want to see the early jet age and the awesome tanks

Actually, this mod has amazing textures for how small it is. The variety of weapons is very pleasing..... I really do hope it turns out well. I think that good animations, especiallly for the handweapons, would improve the visuals. I too hope this mod is a winner

You mod guys need to realise that is it a little late to be not quite done with mods. I dont know why people are still modding for bf1942 and vietnam. Vietnam was awsome, however I dont; play it because it has no run button..lol.

The textures look amazing compared to any other mods I have seen. What about your maps? The soldier textures and weapon textures look just as amazing as the tank.

hey guys, im a beta tester for BFK, and to some of you there saying allot of the BSS mods suck, well thats your opinion, but this mod is totally diferent from all of them, for one thing its set during the korean war, wich so far no mod has ever been released for. secondly, this team has its own goals, one of them is to be as realistic as posible, with much detail involved, all weapons and vehicles have been crafted with imense detail, if you look closely at some pics on the site, even each shell casing from weapons have their own unique style acording to its caliber, and the skins also have many features not easyly viewable. and all this work is being done by 3-4 devs, and some help from others mods. about the maps, they are coming a long slowly, but they will be great when they are finished. and there will be many diferent types of combat, in forest, beach landings, winter, open field.... all sorts of stuff.

also if you know anyone who might be able to help out the mod, go to the site and register at the forums and post. A coder is something we need, so if you are one or know one, drop by and post.

also to you normal guys out there, jsut register at the forums and you get access to alot of WIP stuff being made from the devs and constantly updated during the weeks. a long with a friendly comunity there to answer your question.

i think the mod looks great, it's about time the korean war made it's way into video games. keep it up guys

Keep up the good work and nevermind the whining posters.. there are alot of people who actually appreciate hard work, they just don't happen to be as vocal..

Mods require a lot of effort, and without large teams like the major mods, progress will be slow. People mod for enjoyment and personal satisfaction - not to meet your deadlines!

As far as BF1942 and BFV, to each his own! Why do you care!? They are easy modding environments compared to BF2 and others. Skills learned working on these older engines is transferable to the newer engines.
