  ALT+TAB Fix For BF2142 - Troubleshooting

BF2142.se has found a fix for the problem that many players are having when using ALT + TAB while in Battlefield 2142. Here is how to fix it:

If you have not deleted the intro films, but have problems with alt+tab:
1. Go into C://Program Files/Electronic arts/Battlefield 2142/mods/bf2142/
2. Erase the folder Movies.
3. Download and install this file.


If you have already deleted the intro films, but have problems with alt+tab:
1. Download and install this file.

ill download this, but what is the problem when u press alt + tab?

n another question, y delete the intro movies? What would this do? Improve performance?

the ALT+TAB problem is that you cant Alt+tab back into the game, cuase bf2142 has locked up.
sometimes the only thing to get out of the crached bf2142 isa full restart

Either that, or CTRL+ALT+DEL to get the Task Manager and kill the process manually. It never seems to work right after you do that - probably a memory leak somewhere. Rebooting gets it rolling again. Glad someone figured it out.

I never have any problems with alt-tabbing confused

Wait, why is that file exactly the size of my dice.bik file? Does that mean that instead of doing this I could just remove all .biks except the dice.bik?
