  Battlefield Files Comments Guide

Welcome to the Battlefield Files comments guide. In this little page you will be able to learn how to bold, underline, italicize, mix and match and a little bit more in your post. There is nothing tough about it, and now you will be able to really get your point across! You will also learn the ability of the quote tags, so you can stop putting '@ #whatever' in your comments. Lets get started!

Bolding
Well this is probably the simplest thing, but the most effective way to get your point across. To bold do the fallowing:
    That was [b.]TOTALLY awesome!
would create
    That was TOTALLY awesome!

Underline
To underline something for any reason, do the fallowing:
    Well [u.]you[/u.] are pretty smart.
would create
    Well you are pretty smart.

Italics
To make your point will italics is just as simple as bolding! Check it out:
    Well I'm glad we still [i.]have[/i.] the internet.
would create
    Well I'm glad we still have the internet.

Quoting NOTE: There are spaces between the [ and the words quote. When entering into a comments DO NOT have the space. It is for HTML purposes!
To add quote, it is simple:
    Go to the members post and highlight their post. Right click, copy, go to comment box and type [ quote ] and then paste. Now you can either type [ quote ]Posted by members name and then paste or just hit paste. Be sure to close it off with [ /quote ] and then begin your reply. Here is an example:
    Quote:
    Posted by member504 Man you are awesome!!
    Thanks man!

Adding links
Adding a link is simple. There are two ways you can do it:
    Either just simply add the link and it will make the link for you. Easy, simple, effective. Link will look like this - http://www.bf2files.com

    Or you can be complicated and make your link in a little less words by adding [url] tags. Simply get your link, copy it, go to the comment box and type [.url=http://www.bf2files.com]Battlefield Files[/url] and it will look like this Battlefield Files. You can also add ellipse and make the URL the link, but shorter. Example - [.url=http://battlefield2.filefront.com/info/BF2142]http://battlefield2.filefront.com/...2142[/url] will make http://battlefield2.filefront.com/...2142. All ways will work!

*Note: Dots added to PHP tags to make them show (PHP tags = tags with box brackets between them.) This should make this page helpful. Use the exact PHP tag (without the dot) to make the effect work.
