Tundra Lake 2.1

Tundra Lake is snow battle with very, very low visibility. There is a lake
in the middle with a few islands and contorl points on those islands.

Do not copy ANY of my code as it has taken me a long to time come up with all of it. You may,
however, LOOK at the code to how I did something and then WIRTE YOU OWN code based of mine. You
may make modifications to this map so long as YOU take credit for YOUR work, and your work ALONE.
Do not give me credit for YOUR modifications, nor take credit for MY work. I made what I made,
you made you made, simple as that.

This map is presented to everyone AS IS. You may distribute it where ever how ever so long as
you distribute the whole map.

How to install:

The installation program should automatically detect the proper path to you Battlefield 1942 folder.
If not, copy the "Tundra_Lake.rfa" files into your bf1942 and DC_Final levels folders (make sure put
them into thier respective places, it does matter which goes where. The defualt path is provided below.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\DC_Final\Archives\BF1942\levels

(by defualt, DO NOT USE THIS PATH BLINDLY. If you Battlefield 1942 folder is
located elsewhere, make the proper adjustments).

Uninstalling:

Why would you want to do that?

Well just in case, siply delete the "Tundra_Lake.rfa" files and this "Tundra Lake Read Me.txt" and your done.

two floating objects
removed heavy tanks. replaced with light tank
dropped capture time on islands 10 seconds total
dropped capture time on side bases to 15 seconds total
doubled capture radius of all control points
added some cover to all islands
added some cover to side bases
added some random cover throughout the map
generated surface textures, terrain shadows, and in-game map with BC 1.1 instead of 1.0
blended road textures

reduced fog distance to 75 instead of 100

DC Version
file tree, all that is needed to install this map is copy the "Mods" folder into the main Battlefield folder (When Windows asks to overwrite choose "yes to all". No files will be overwritten. If you don't like this method, then just copy the files manually to their respective folders.)
NOTE: To play the Desert Combat version, you MUST have Desert Combat installed!

smoothed out a few rough areas
sloped island banks so that one can walk up most of them
reduced number of vehicle to about half and increased their spawn time
repainted textures
rotated some tress to so they don't look like they are all facing the same way
removed all unnecessary files from rfa that were in previous versions
increased capture time to on all bases by 5 seconds
regenerated object light maps fix annoying glitch when light maps are compressed
DC version
replaced heavy tank with light tank in DC version
replaced APC in DC version with mobile anti air tank
added version number to DC load screen
added small helicopters to DC version
1.7 Fourth online test
Fixed:
All Versions
reduced amount of vehicles again.
smoothed out a few rough areas.
DC Version
replaced a few vehicles with other light vehicles.
removed choppers and anti-air


1.8 Fifth online test

Willys are now Russian
increased veiw distance to 100

Snow Textures
Amphibious Humvee, M2A3, and M-109 to balance out gameplay
Removed LCVPs
BF1942 does not relfect these cahnges, It is the same as in 2.0 (no CTF)
