INSTALLATION:

Extract the "Factory_War" folder to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels


BRIEFING:

There is a war going on in Sprang-Capelle, the big Iraqi company, called : Al-Ola. Has planted a big factory in the peaceful country lands of Sprang-Capelle. Now the people are MAD and they are going to destroy the factory and the buildings of the personal, your task is to destroy or to defend it, you chose...

FEATURES:

-A big infantry map for 32 players, 64 players will be a chaos I think. Butt it will be fun.
-A US versus MEC map.
-Commander Assets, UAV, SCAN, no artillery.
-You can sneak around in the high grass.

LEGAL STUFF:

Do not modify this map without my notice and approval. You may distribute and host it any ware you like, butt only with the original ReadMe file. Do not use this map in a mod without my notice and approval.

jsut a note dont blame him for lighint in bf2 editor it is a ***** toi do lights. it was almost 5hours to get my lighting in my map an this is nto bat l liek the lamps. man

Have you guys who are clearly so talented at map creation ever thought of making maps compatible with the bf2 demo?

i am getting bf2 in the near future but until then i'm "stuck" with the demofrown

I've managed to put bloodpuffs into the demo but can't put the maps in cos most of the maps require models which aren't included in the demofrown

Just a thoughtcool

I think that woul;d be considered hacking the demo into a bootlegable format as if it was intended it would be possible.

I think you need to buy BF 2 retail instead of spending your time trying to exploit use of the demo

I also think FileFront and EA would also appreciate if you would not ask such topices again

People thanks for all the comments so far Especially the good ones but the bad ones too so we can reconize our mistakes smile
Basti504 and I worked about 3 weeks on making this map and it's gone trough some serious testing and we're pretty sure U won't experience lag. wink

in response to #4, yes, you can actually get custom maps to work with the demo.
I have the full vers of bf2, but im using windows 2000, so I downloaded the demo on my brothers comp, made a few custom maps with the editors,, tested them on the demo (the only errors are model and texture) and then played them on my comp with the retail version. but that wasn't really what you're asking, I suggest trying to play it at a friends house and kick around the chinese troopship/guns before you buy. In my opinion, daqing oilrefinery 64 would of made a better demo map, as that the chinese guns utterly kick MEC ass, and we all know the americans look cooler in the jungle uniforms.
