Description:
This may be the final release of the 32 Man Lan as the main objectives have been completed: to provide 31 bots to all single players maps without needing to modify the BF2 files each time in a well presentable manner. We may choose to update the 32 Man Lan inthe future if there is fantastic additions made to include such as the selection of advanced weaponry, or if mapping bots for the "Kubra" and "Mushtuur" maps are achieved in the future. Until then enjoy this fine release smile

	Readme File: BF 2 Single Player 32 Man Lan v4.32 By the Playpen Development Team (PDT) notes: This may be the final release of the 32 Man Lan as the main objectives have been completed: to provide 31 bots to all single players maps without needing to modify the BF2 files each time in a well presentable manner. We may choose to update the 32 Man Lan inthe future if there is fantastic additions made to include such as the selection of advanced weaponry, or if mapping bots for the "Kubra" and "Mushtuur" maps are achieved in the future. Until then enjoy this fine release :) ------------------- Features 1. Stand alone modification (meaning no PunkBuster kicks) 2. 31 bots on all Single Player maps with default Difficulties 3. Direct shortcut on desktop and start menu for "32 Man Lan v3.32" What is so nice about these you may ask ? The ability to have separate BF 2 mods especially for 32 bot single player action. No longer will you have to keep modifying your AI files between SP and Online because the mod stands and performs alone. ------------------- Changes from v3.32 1. BloodPuff mod Integrated (Thanks to WCP) :) 2. Modified Bot Names (some funny, some twisted, some original) 3. Slideshow styled menu replacement 4. Removed irrelevent menu items and addressed irrelevent messages. 5. Localization for All Languages (English Locales caused errors and funny operations on foreign versions) ------------------- Directions: 1. Run installer. If your BF 2 is not installed at the listed location, direct it to Battlefield 2/mods 2. There should be 2 shortcuts on your desktop. a. you will first need to execute "Setup 32 Man LAN v2.32 " so that it will duplicate the files needed from your BF 2 installation in order to function correctly. b. If the batch file does not work for you, copy the entire "Levels" directory from Battlefield 2/mods/bf2 and paste it to Battlefield 2/mods/SP32ML 3. Execute "32 Man Lan v4.32" to play or activate "32 Man Lan" on the community mods page within your default Battlefield 2 menus. 4. Have Fun and Game Hard If you want to free up an additional 130 mb of HDD space, delete the "Mushtor" and "Kubra" folders in the "Levels" directory ------------------- FAQs Q. how do you add bots? I have the maps loaded and I created a LAN game, but I get no bots? A. I am sorry if the "32 Man LAN" title is confusing... I may change that. I called it "32 Man LAN" because it does enable 31 bots on all single player 16 bot maps emulating a local experience. To play, just start a single player map (any map) and the 31 bots will join automatically Q. I thought you could be able to have bots on the 32 and / or 64 player maps A. Unfortunately it is not yet possible to fully unlock the 32 and 64 player maps and keep the bots intelligent enough to use the space and resources provided. To do so would include manually editing so many files without the proper sdk modding tools since the editor is yet to be released. Q. Why is every version #.32 ? Why the .32 ? A. Because it the 32 bot version of the mod. If we do choose to release a 48 or 64 bot mod or addon, they will be named .48 or .64 respectively :P Q. Why does the mouse cursor not appear, the menu crash, or the game have spontaneous funny reactions ? A. Most of these causes were due to the Localization directory being English. To fix these issues we have included all Language localization files since version 3.32 Q. Will this version of the 32ML work with the current version of BF2 ? A. At the time of release v4.32 of the 32ML works fine with v1.02 of BF2 without problems. Every version of the 32ML has worked fine with every version of BF2. All of the latest versions of the 32ML contain modified content from the latest edition of BF2. IE: If the AI files are updated for BF2, we will use the latest files for the latest edition of the 32ML. ------------------- Concepted Changes to be made for next editions (if there is a next): 1. hopefully to include the unlocked weapons restrictions 2. customized menu music 3. we'll just have to see ------------------- The Playpen Development Team: Killpuppy Recruiting More for HL2 Projects Special Thanks to the community: Thank You for supporting the mod. name is far too deceiving ... but you tried ... all you need to do is edit the file... but you decided to make a way not to have to not bad but coop mod is what people should look for when it comes to a 32 man LAN ... Rock

hense, when I created the first version of this mod, there was no "coop mod" yet existant. Though I do see great potential in the "Coop Mod" and hope to see it expand in the future.

does this mean I can use the helicopters,and crappy jets in BF2 in the SP maps?I don't have the full game yet but if this mod gives me access to the helicopters with bot support in the sp maps then I'll definitely get BF2.Nice Two Thumbs Up!

I have since retired the "32 Man Lan" as CO-Op and bot modifiers have flooded the scene. However I have a few project concepts up my sleeve.....

i cant get any file out of th e download exept a .rar file HOW DO YOU GET IT TO WORK!?!?

i edit any game i get lol but i want to play a lan battle with my bro and it is soooo boring cause sooo little killing is there a way to like add bot to a lan battle ( any way?) i cant edit very well but i can modify all of stuff but i cant figure thi one out frown

umm i dont like the sniper damage its to low if ur like me i love to snipe! lol and i go by the moto one shot one kill i need to know how to edit the damage in the weapons... i only want to change the sniper though

It said 16 in singleplayer, but there were 31 bots. It works great. The maps aren't larger than singleplayer 16, just more populated.
